Meet the LGBT veterans who proudly served our nation, and who are now Out and Proud.
anonymous veterans are placed in order simply for ease of organization. We will be adding continually as more registries come in, and National Veterans Coming Out lists come in from AVER's 24 local chapters.

Bio: I was completely out during my military service before and after my service in Iraq. Everyone in my company and batallion up to the CSM and BC knew my civilian boyfriend. When we got back from Iraq my boyfriend was with all the other family members and we kissed in front of everyone and nobody ever said a word. My personal experience was that the troops on the ground are more progressive than policy would have civilians believe. I was a good soldier and a good NCO and in the long run that was all people cared about.
