Trained Ft. Sam Houston TX as medical corpsman; served Ft. Devens MA as hospital personnel specialist. (Conscientious objector) Cited for meritorious service. Played organ at weekly service in hospital chapel.

Bio: I will always feel guilty that I did not come out to a good friend in the
army who was gay and died in RVN before I came to terms with my gay
identity. He was Lieutenant Charles Emory.
